Mittelmoda is back! The 26th edition is ready to start, with the selection of the most talented young designers coming from over 700 fashion schools from all around the world. A real call-to-action and a great opportunity for fashion students and emerging designers, but hurry-up!
International Lab of Mittelmoda is one of the most renowned global fashion competition that involves students and fashion schools from 66 countries in the world. A spotlight on the talent and the creative projects made by the final year students of fashion design courses, just graduated designers and also by self-taught designers who are less than 28-years-old.

Mittelmoda is now a traditional appointment for talent scouts and mass media in search of new ideas and genuine creativity. The strenghts of this competition are, in fact, the close connections with the working world of fashion industry and communication, as well as the collaboration with important realities of Italian fashion system like Confindustria Moda, Camera Nazionale della Moda and SMI – Sistema Moda Italia and the partnership with brand as Levi’s, Lectra, Origin, The Woolmark Company and many others.

Five are the categories in which the students and the young designers can partecipate with their graduate or capsule collections:
- Womenswear/Menswear
- Knitwear
- Bags & Shoes
- Accessories (eyewear, fashion jewelry, foulard, etc.)
- Fabrics & Materials (cotton, wool, leather, fur, technical, etc.)

The Jury, formed by some the most important professionals of fashion industry and chaired by Matteo Marzotto, President of Mittelmoda International Lab, will select the finalists who will partecipate to an important event and a fashion show during the trade fair MICAM, from 15th to 18th September in Milan.

The prizes are absolutely interesting and a project, if particularly worthy, could be rewarded also with more than a prize:
- MITTELMODA THE FASHION AWARD – INNOVATION: Absolute Prize of € 3000 for the most innovative collection offered by Confindustria Moda and Fondazione Industrie Cotone e Lino
- MITTELMODA THE FASHION AWARD – CREATIVITY: Absolute Prize of € 3000 for the most creative collection offered by Camera Nazionale della Moda
- CATEGORY AWARD Womenswear/Menswear: € 1000 for a capsule collection of minumim 5 outfits
- CATEGORY AWARD Knitwear: € 1000 for a capsule collection of minumim 5 outfits
- CATEGORY AWARD Bags & Shoes: € 1000 for a capsule collection (with no minimum of pieces)
- CATEGORY AWARD Accessories: € 1000 for a capsule collection (with no minimum of pieces)
- CATEGORY AWARD Fabrics & Materials: € 1000 for a capsule collection (with no minimum of pieces)
- LECTRA SPECIAL AWARD – FIL ROUGE DEFILÉ: for the most innovative outfit, rewarded with the licences of Kaledo Style and Modaris software systems plus the specific training for a total value of € 18000
- DONDUP FOR SUSTAINABILITY: € 2000 for the most sustainable and eco-friendly project offered by Dondup

Who want to apply must send his/her portfolio with the collection plus
